LOCATION: Kyotango, Kyoto pref.; 30km from Kinosaki Onsen. Accessible by train (Amino Sta.) and bus.
New Marutadoso is located a 3-minute walk to one of Japan's biggest sandy beaches. It has been more than 20 years since it opened in July 1992. It can be used as a base for visiting the Tango peninsula during the spring and autumn season.
Three indoor family baths with free-flowing hot-spring source water are free to use for private bathing. Natural Nakisuna hot-spring was found in 1996. It is quite popular and said to make your skin smooth.
Enjoy delicious meals and hand-made buckwheat noodles made by owner. And also home-grown Koshihikari rice and original Sake await you.
Okami has started drawing oil paintings as hobby for 17 years, since her work has been selected and won award prize, she continues to paint about the local area of Tango.
