Away from the clatter and noise of the hot spring town, wonderful views from the comfort of the inn of our well manicured garden await out guests. The owner carefully watches over the entire 3,966 square meters of property with its 23 guest rooms. The guest rooms were designed with the natural features wood, earth, paper and light to give off a peacefully warm atmosphere. In these traditional rooms guests can have a relaxed dinner cuisine reflecting the current season. Tokiwa is known for being an inn with repeat guests and well adapted for individual travelers.
Note: 7 guest rooms were been remodeled and outfitted with attached open-air baths on October 23, 2009.

Plan with one night lodging and two meals included. * Dinner: Traditional Japanese banquet style dinner with seasonal Japanese dishes. * Breakfast: Traditional Japanese breakfast. * All meals will be served in your room. * For groups of 5 or more people, dinner is served in our dining hall. Check in: 15:00~18:00. Dinner time:18:00~19:00 (Dinner is stopped serving at 21:00). Breakfast time: 7:30~8:30.

  • In the lobby, there is a lounge where you can help yourself to a variety of drinks, including beer, local sake, wine, coffee, tea, Japanese tea, juice, and post-bath ice cream. Please refrain from bringing drinks into your room. 【The available hours for your use are as follows:】​​15:00–17:30 / 20:00–22:30 / 7:30–9:30 (Coffee only).





Additional fee notice
-[Children 7~12 A / 70% charge of adults] Same dinner dishes as an adult (with 2 less items) + bedding + yukata(summer kimono) + towel + other necessary amenities that also apply to adults.
-[Children 7~12 B / 50% charge of adults] Kid's plate style dinner + bedding + yukata(summer kimono) + towel + other necessary amenities that also apply to adults.
-[Children 7~12 C / 30% charge of adults] bedding + yukata(summer kimono) + towel (no meals included).
-[Children 1~6 (with meals) / JPY 2,750] Only Dinner (a kid style meal). No breakfast. Breakfast can be purchased separately for JPY 2,200.
-[Children 1~6 (with bedding) / JPY 2,200] Bedding only. No meals.
-Children 1~6 who do not require bedding or meals will not be charged. However, the inn must be notified of the child in advance.
-Check-in is from 3:00p.m. Guests should check-in no later than 5:00p.m. so that they may have a more relaxing time. Guests arriving later than 5:00p.m. should notify the inn as soon as possible and inform them of your new estimated time of arrival.
About service fees and taxes
The price is the total amount, including the service charge and consumption tax. The following bathing tax will be charged separately at the time of payment.

Toyooka City Bathing Tax/Bathing Fees

This is a tax levied on bathing guests. It is a special purpose tax to cover the expenses required for tourism promotion; protect and manage facilities for mineral spring sources and firefighting facilities. The mineral spring bathhouse owner becomes responsible to collects it from the bathing guests.


Bathing tax
Adults 150 yen; Children are tax exempt.

Bathing fee
Adults 280 yen; Children 140 yen.

Cancellation Policy
The cancellation fee is as follows.
Unauthorized cancellation :100% of all night accommodation charge
Cancellation after 0:00 on the day :100% of the room charge
Cancellation after 0:00 on the day before :50% of the room charge
Cancellation 3 days before 0:00 :30% of the room charge

Internet cancellation
Cancellations are taken 0:00 3 days
