The beautiful 3-stories wooden structure that blends beautifully with the surrounding Kinosaki Onsen atmosphere. Ryokan Tsutaya is known for its historical and artistic decorations. Our interior have been decorated with hand writing letters and Japanese paintings by Katsura Kogoro (later known as Takayoshi Kido) who stayed at our property and played a large role in the establishment of the new Meiji government in around 1864. Enjoy our relaxed atmosphere and experience a taste of warm and personal service.
New Katsura Kaiseki Dinner
Katsura Kaiseki features “grilled deep-fried Tofu (arranged in contemporary style)” which is Katsura Kogoro’s favorite dish! The name of plan comes from his first name.
** Dinner menu: grilled deep-fried Tofu, soup, sashimi(4 kinds), fried fish, eggplant gratin, simmered assorted seasonal vegetables, crab meat dipped in vinegar sauce, seasonal kamameshi(traditional Japanese rice dish), Japanese black beef steak bite, dessert, pickles.
** Kids meal: half amount of an adult one (50%), If required a meal almost same as an adult 70%, please notify us by e-mail or call in advance. You can leave your request in the comment space when you book.
** Plan of "Children with meal" comes only dinner (no breakfast included)
