In the town of Yumura Onsen, hot spring culture is deeply ingrained in daily life. Here, you can casually experience the culture of boiling locally produced things like wild plants, vegetables, rice, etc.utilizing the super-hot 98°C source spring "Arayu," which has continued since ancient times. Recommended activities include making Arayu pudding and creating silky soft-boiled eggs. Visiting the often-televised Obaa Cafe or writing a dream letter at Yume Chiyokan are sure to become memorable experiences. The weak alkaline spring waters, which have a pH of 7.29, are gentle on the skin, offering a "beauty bath" that leaves your skin smooth and your body warm to the core long after bathing.
