A three story wooden inn with over 200 years of business history. Centrally located in Kinosaki allowing for a mere 30 second~2 minute walk to 'Ichi no Yu' and the beautiful 'Gosho no Yu' public open-air baths.

After taking a rejuvenating soak in our private Japanese cypress bath, enjoy our delicious local cuisine made from carefully chosen local grown products. 'Kasumitsuru', 'Chikusen' and 'Ginkai' are localy brewed Japanese sakes offered here and compliment any dinner well. You can relax while you enjoy your meals served to you in your own room.

There are around 100 small inns located all over Kinosaki Onsen. The roads through the town are thought of as corridors in a Japanese inn, and the town is one large Japanese inn. The closeness of the town makes it feel like one big family.
But with in this one 'family' is a hot spring inn with true charm, offering great hospitality and a most enjoyable time in Kinosaki Onsen. This one inn is 'Yamatoya'.
