The castle town "IZUSHI" is often referred to as Little Kyoto. Enjoy exploring the town of historical buildings from the Meiji Era, such as "Eirakukan" (a playhouse) and "Izushi Meijikan." The locally made Izushi soba (buckwheat noodles) are a specialty of the area. On the 3rd of November (National Holiday), you can see a castle festival, which features a procession of daimyo.
