The Museum for Wood Culture

Experience the powerful heavens in this building
designed by Tadao Ando.
In order to celebrate the National Tree Planting Ceremony in 1994, the renowned architect Tadao Ando designed a museum complex whose themes are forests, sea, and sun. Admission fee is free! They have many wooden toys, a library, and some wood toy making workshops. (Fee charged)
